Bookcase

I have a thing for full floor to ceiling bookcases. Not sure why, but I always have. I think it started around the time I first saw Willy Wonka. I wanted to have a bookcase like the candy man's shelves; fully equipt with a rolling ladder. Here are some inspirations...

I'm determined to learn how to do this! I just need to learn origami... Also, why does everything lead back to deviantart?

Wallpaper

One day, I will live in a place when I can put up wallpaper. Until then, I get by with vinyl wall decals and swoon over wallpapered rooms I see online. Some of the best can be found on Apartment Therapy and Desire to Inspire, but I mostly find various images on ffffound. I've come to favor a few designers.

Romo Fabrics has some great new product in their Mirabel Wallcovering line. They have a great earthy color palate and fun organic prints. This one's my favorite



Another great trend that I will certainly take advantage of one day is the painted floor. Royal Design Studio makes very cool stencils that can be used on any surface. They recently gave an example of how to use their lace stencils on floors!


What a great idea!! It would give me a good excuse to keep my floors clean.

D'holbachie-Yoko

I never took interest in a specific artist until d'Holbachie Yoko. I enjoyed art, appreciated design, but I never really had a "favorite artist". I would see an image i liked and never bother to look into the artist. Not anymore!


I cannot get enough of d'Holbackie Yoko. Maybe this is love.

How Things Work

Children's books.



I will write, illustrate and publish a children's book one day. Hopefully many children's books. I will also finish all my craft projects. I am very good at planning and purchasing my supplies, but I get lost on the execution.
